Location: 530 West Broadway, Vancouver BC, Canada

Core hours: Monday to Friday from 8am – 4:30pm PST


We value collaboration, both in-person and remotely. This position is classified as Hybrid under our Hybrid Work Program Policy, where this position is required to be onsite 3-5 days per week.



Role Summary

As a Senior Digital Operations Manager, you will be taking on a crucial role supporting our Director of Digital Marketing while they focus on a 12-month enterprise project. As the lead overseeing Digital Operations, you'll play a vital role in optimizing customer acquisition, brand engagement, and revenue growth through impactful digital campaigns and content initiatives. In this role, you will spearhead cross-departmental collaborations, emphasizing brand engagement and enhancing relationships with Spa Partners and Retail Customers. You will also be driving substantial traffic, optimizing conversions, maximizing ROI, and orchestrating strategies for lead generation, digital attribution, and retention through partnerships with 3rd party vendors. In this role, you will be reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing.


Responsibilities

  • Spearhead growth marketing strategies encompassing SEM, display advertising, online video, and social media alongside the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Collaborating with sales leaders to drive incremental sales in both B2C and B2B channels, constantly exploring innovative technologies.
  • Enhance the email marketing automation function, optimizing data management and overseeing end-to-end lead processes.
  • Provide analytics and reporting leadership, extract actionable insights from web analytics, refine strategies for continuous brand enhancement and deliver accurate monthly reports for media spend and digital marketing activities.
  • Develop comprehensive content strategies in collaboration with the Digital Content Manager, aligning with marketing initiatives to enhance the online user experience and support brand objectives.
  • Elevate digital creative concepts and assets in partnership with the Digital Creative Team, Graphic Designers, and relevant teams to enrich the brand's visual identity and contribute to its growth.
  • Oversee the creation and publication of unique and accurate website content, ensuring SEO optimization through best practices and provided tools.
  • Drive the development, implementation, and optimization of social media marketing strategies and content across various platforms, fostering brand engagement with Spa Partners, Retail Customers, bloggers, and industry thought leaders.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of website content and social media campaigns, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and responding promptly and tactfully to comments and inquiries to contribute to the brand's ongoing elevation.
  • Manage and mentor a team of digital channel experts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, including individual growth plans to optimize team performance as required.
  • Support the recruitment and hiring of Team-members including conducting performance reviews as needed.
  • Cultivate key relationships across departments, ensuring successful campaign execution and collaboration with internal stakeholders from Sales, Business Development, Information Services, Product Development, and Customer Education.
  • Work alongside external contractors, overseeing status, timeline, budget, deliverables, and performance reporting while actively seeking competitive and landscape intelligence.
  • Proactively build, maintain, and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on digital marketing strategies and goals.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of digital marketing experience in a corporate environment with a minimum of 5 years managing a team
  • Proven track record in developing and executing global digital marketing strategies
  • Strong leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performance teams
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field with a digital focus
  • Preferred experience in both B2B and B2C digital environments
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level CMS, especially Drupal, and basic web page-building capabilities
  • Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry, particularly in spa and health and beauty – an asset
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Exceptional project management skills, adept at handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and organizational skills
